Postby eclecticguy » Thu Sep 13, 2012 4:45 pm

This year we are holding 2 Reelsmithing Workshops for attendees of the Arts of the Angler show in Danbury, CT! You can pick the early session on Friday evening or the later session on Sunday at noon - that way, you can build a reel and not miss any of the show!

Session 1 takes place on Friday November 9th at 6pm
Session 2 takes place on Sunday November 11th at noon

Each Workshop is limited to 10 attendees and is a great introduction to making hand-crafted fly reels.
Reelsmith Michael Hackney will start with a short history of the fishing reel the proceed with an overview of the tools and techniques used in the Workshop. The Workshop includes the reel kit and all supplies, tools and instruction needed to complete it. Prepare to spend 3 to 4 hours to complete your reel. Your $135 registration fee includes the $10 admission to the Arts of the Angler show.

cheers,
Michael
