Happy New Year

Another one is behind us, and for me I will say it was a pretty good year. But being old and retired, seeing the sunrise the next day is a pretty good feeling.

I bought the reelsmith book and kit a month ago, I have read the book, but haven't accomplished anything with it. When I got it we headed to New Mexico, and took I it with me to work on, but our trip was cut short so back to Texas and I left the kit and book in New Mexico. Fast forward to after Christmas, we are back in New Mexico, but we have the 2 and 5 year grand kids with us, so the kit is still packed away safely. My resolution for 2013, is to make my first reel.

Happy New Year to everyone. And thanks for all of the great information on the forum.

Happy New Year Marvin and everyone! I'm tempted to declaim 2013 "the year for reelmaking"!
