Skeleton Brass Reel

Jumps in between my ATH projcet with brass reel
I have done this kind of skeleton reel before, but then in aluminum.
Therefore I do it in brass this time , thought posting some pics along the way
It is made of Aluminum Bronze (jm7)
Michael you know where this one is going ;)

It,s based on a Pflueger Progress 60
The diameter cross over the pillars is 66 mm
I haven't a clue of the linecapacity, think it's
better to ask Richard

Excellent work on the boxes! They really add to the presentation of the reels.

Do you machine the back plate from a thicker billet or press a flat sheet to form the pocket?
